What is status you say? It??™s hard to explain, but in everyday situation human beings intuitively know who has high status. It could be the best football player in a high school, the president of the company, the best looking girl in the university who walks like a model and never looks downward on anything. If you ever noticed, and I??™m sure everyone has done this too, people laugh when they hear others laugh. Now if you paid even closer attention, you would notice that this only happens when the person with the HIGHER STATUS laughs. Say you and a crew of friends were out on the beach, and the coolest person within the group laughs. Chances are that you and your other friends will laugh too.
Now consider an example OPPOSITE of that. Say that the nerdiest kid in a classroom laughs. You will probably not see any other people laughing with him. You probably won??™t even laugh yourself, unless the nerd pointed out previously was you.
Instead, what happens is that others will look at the nerd as the ???jackass???
If you try to think back to everyday situations, you will also notice that the people with the higher status laughs LESS than lower status people.
Now what do most men do when trying to make a woman laugh? They LAUGH in order to try to get the woman to laugh.
This is really really BAD??¦??¦.UNLESS, you are LAUGHING AT the woman.
